## Summary

The procurement process for the "Employee Engagement IT System," conducted by The Common Services Agency (NHS National Services Scotland), is complete. This contract falls within the health services industry and was focused on providing hosting and ongoing support for software that the NHS holds a perpetual licence for, ensuring its usage across Scotland's NHS Bodies and Health and Social Care Partnerships. The procurement was initiated as a limited process without prior publication, as the incumbent supplier, Webropol OY, possesses the necessary intellectual property rights. The contract was valued at £1,050,000 and signed on 28th July 2020, with a minimum duration of seven years, allowing termination thereafter by notice of twelve months.

This tender offers significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in IT services, particularly those that can provide software hosting and support tailored to the health sector. Companies capable of delivering high-quality, reliable solutions and possessing relevant expertise in managing health-related software would be well-suited to compete. The requirements underscore the importance of existing relationships with public bodies and the ability to offer continuity of service, which could present a competitive edge in future tender processes.
