Zero Waste Scotland wishes to appoint a Contractor/s to manage its Environmental Management System (EMS). The current EMS is accredited to ISO 14001:2015 and we require that this standard is maintained and continually improved with the technical assistance of a third-party system manager.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

Zero Waste Scotland (ZWS) has an Environmental Management System (EMS) which supports us to minimise and continually reduce our environmental impacts as an organisation. The existing ZWS EMS is currently accredited to the international ISO 14001:2015 standard. ZWS are seeking to appoint a Contractor who can fulfil the on-going maintenance and continuous improvement of the EMS. The existing ZWS EMS was previously managed by a bespoke team of internal staff since it was established, with external surveillance audits and independent assessments being undertaken by a third-party quality assurance provider. The EMS has been managed by an external consultant since August 2018. ZWS is now seeking to outsource the overall management of the upgraded system to ensure it retains its ISO 14001 accreditation and that the complete EMS is aligned with the strategic direction of our organisation as well as preserving the embedment of the system across ZWS staff and operations.
