Lot 1

NHS Lothian Estates Department is responsible for the 24/7 planned and reactive maintenance of buildings, plant and equipment across approximately 150 properties including 6 main hospital sites. The department is also involved in minor construction projects, installation of new equipment, upgrading and refurbishment of wards. At times of high demand upon the service, there may be a need to supplement the existing NHSL workforce with Landscaping, Gardening & Associated Service contractors. This is a single Lot tender consisting Landscaping, Gardening & Associated Services. This Tender is for Term Contract work for smaller single trade projects with a value less than 50K GBP (excluding VAT). The resulting contract will be a ranked Framework Contract covering an initial two year period (2019 to 2022) with an option to extend for a further 12 months to maximum of four years. Examples of works that could be covered by this contract include: Weeding General Gardening & Litter Removal Earthworks & Excavation Soil preparation and treatment Seeding & Turfing Grass Cutting Winter Gritting Tree & Hedge Planting 24/7 365 Standby Service for Emergency Call Outs and Reactive Works. Occasional Paving, Monoblocking & Fencing Waste Removal Hedge Trimming

Renewal: An optional + 12 months, + 12 month extension may apply after the two year.
