## Summary

### Lot Information

Lot 1

Sometime after completion of the other Work Items for the Stranraer Flood Protection Scheme, a natural depression in a field at Spoutwells Farm started filling up with ground water, and if left, overtops causing water to flow over the surface towards Ochtrelure housing development. As well as potentially causing flooding, the standing water is causing damage to the field and an area of land is now unusable and will require reinstatement on completion of the works. The 'drainage works' is Work Item 4 in its entirety which consists of a 900mm diameter pipe from A77 to the inlet at Highcroft via the ponded area. The current proposed works is the laying of a 900mm diameter pipe from A77 to the ponded area. This is a standalone project and when WI 4 progresses this pipeline will be incorporated into the works
