### Procurement Information

Section 13 of the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014 allows for award without seeking offers, but should consider the TFEU fundamental principles where relevant. As the service requirement is undergoing redesign, it was deemed to be in the best interest of the BAME Women suffering Domestic Abuse to award this contract extension as an interim measure to ensure continuity of service. As this is a preventative service which provides support before other more costly interventions are required. The award will allow time for the establishment of a new service to commence April 2020.
