The SPIRE programme is a collaboration between the Scottish Government and NHS National Services Scotland (NSS). SPIRE is a tool that facilitates the management of information at a practice level, and extraction of primary care data at GP, practice, cluster, locality and national levels. As at August 2019, there are approximately 950 GP Practices in Scotland with SPIRE software installed. It should be noted that the number of practices with the current SPIRE software installed is expected to decrease over the contract period as the new GP IT infrastructure is implemented. The overall objective of this contract is to transition from the existing software supplier to support and maintain the existing SPIRE system. Options: The contract term is a three year initial term with two additional one year optional extensions.
