Historically, the Scottish Government acted as a central collection point and had the responsibility to re-distribute payments made for each Local Authority (32 separate payees). This requirement is looking to introduce a more advanced payment processing service by working with a supplier who is able to forward Landlord Registration payments directly to the relevant Local Authority and forward a portion of each fee directly to the Scottish Government.
