## Summary

West Lothian Council is preparing to initiate a tender for "Sensory Impairment Services", aimed at providing support for individuals with hearing and vision impairments in West Lothian. This procurement falls under the services category and is currently in the planning stage, with the next communication expected on 11 December 2019. The services will entail 20 hours of direct provision per week throughout the year, focusing on tailored support for both children and adults in the area. Interested parties should note that they can register their interest and view further details on the West Lothian Council's website.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in sensory impairment services, particularly those with experience in providing communication support for individuals using British Sign Language and services for the visually impaired. Companies that can deliver flexible, adaptive services while ensuring independence and accessibility for vulnerable populations would be well-positioned to compete. Organisations eager to innovate in assistive technologies or those with a track record in collaboration with local authorities could find particular success in this procurement process.
