Options: Any additional Labcyte Instrumnetation purchased during the contract period shall be added to the Service and Maintenance agreement if required.

### Procurement Information

The Access robotic systems and Echo instrumentation and associated software are supplied by Labcyte. The complete systems (Access + Echo) have been designed and built from the ground up as a single automation platform. As such the software required to operate the machines are unique to Labcyte, from the core hard ware to the application software. As these are the intellectual property of Labcyte only they have the ability to make upgrades and alterations to them. They also have access to core programming settings that third party vendors do not. Third party service providers will therefore be limited to mechanical fixes, not necessarily with genuine parts, and not necessarily able to fully diagnose issues without full access to the instrument parameter settings which is why Labcyte are our preferred maintenance provider in this instance.
