## Summary

The University of Strathclyde is seeking suppliers for the "Resource Efficient Supply and Manufacturing Environment (RESuME)" project, which aims to establish a National Manufacturing Institute for Scotland (NMIS) test bed to address specific industrial challenges. This procurement falls under the services category, with an open procedure for submissions. The current procurement stage is active, and the deadline for bid submissions is set for 20 December 2019. Businesses located in Glasgow and the surrounding areas may find this opportunity particularly relevant.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in manufacturing technologies, integration services, hardware supply, and training. Companies with a strong track record in large-scale projects and the ability to meet stringent selection criteria—including a minimum average yearly turnover and relevant project experience—are especially well-suited to compete. The successful tenderer will have the chance to collaborate with the University of Strathclyde and contribute to pioneering advancements within the Scottish industrial landscape.

## Notice

RESuME will be the first National Manufacturing Institute for Scotland (NMIS) test bed to be detailed and developed. Test beds are essential to address known and specific industrial challenges, but also to illustrate and demonstrate the potential from manufacturing technology to a wider audience NMIS test beds will address integration challenges which go beyond the more specific potential from foundational processing technologies and illustrate potential at the enterprise level. In most cases the test beds represent supply chain approaches and in some cases demonstrators which extend through the Scottish Industrial landscape. RESuME is designed to illustrate the combined capabilities of the Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC) in metallic and composite processing technology and NMIS capabilities in digital technology, design and make, and supply chain agility. Scope of supply: > provision of the integrated platform > hardware > integration and development services > support > training
