## Summary

The procurement process is led by the Life Changes Trust, located at Edward House, 199 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, for the project titled "Invitation to tender: Champions Boards for Young People with Care Experience." This initiative falls under the services category and aims to evaluate the impact of the Champions Board initiative on young people with care experience. The procurement method used is an open procedure, with the tender period that concluded on 17 January 2020. The contract, currently active, is valued at £82,735 and was signed on 12 March 2020.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses focused on social care and youth services, particularly those experienced in project evaluations and community engagement. Companies that specialise in leadership development and are passionate about transforming care systems for young people would be well-suited to compete, given the project’s emphasis on nurturing leadership capabilities and promoting systemic change for those with care experience.

## Notice

The Trust believes that investing directly in young people and placing them at the heart of all efforts to transform the care system is vital if we are to achieve lasting change. This evaluation project will explore the impact of the investment in the Champions Board initiative, particularly in terms of: nurturing leadership capability, developing skills and growing aspiration amongst young people with care experience contributing to wider systems change for young people with care experience

### Lot Information

Lot 1

The evaluation project will have two distinct but interrelated parts: An assessment of the outcomes achieved by Champions Boards (we expect this to make up around 75% of the evaluation project) An assessment of the outcomes achieved by the National Champions Board Network (we expect this to make up around 25% of the evaluation project) We expect the work on assessing the outcomes above to include an exploration of the influence of young people with care experience on policy and practice at a local level, with the aim of assessing if the initiative is nurturing the leadership capabilities of young people (in line with the Columba 1400 definition outlined in bold above).
