Lot 1

The scope of this Invitation to Tender is to review and update the SEStran Regional Park and Ride Strategy originally produced in 2009. This Strategy needs to be updated to take into account a number of recent regional planned land-use and transport developments and in particular the planned introduction of the Edinburgh Low Emission Zone in 2020, and to align the Strategy to new national policies and imperatives. The focus of the work is to develop a Strategic Study to review present-day Park and Ride provision and use in the SEStran area, and to set a framework for developing and assessing future investment in Park and Rides. The Study would also need to identify and assess where complementary measures would facilitate greater uptake of Park and Rides. The Strategic Study will be developed to inform the rewrite of the SEStran Regional Transport Strategy.
