## Summary

The Rural Stirling Housing Association Ltd. is conducting a public procurement process for the "Framework Agreement for Kitchen Replacements 2019-2023." This initiative falls within the housing and community amenities category and is centred in Doune, UK. The procurement is currently in the award stage, having culminated in contracts signed on 17 February 2020. The framework agreement is set to commence from January 2020 and is expected to last for four years, providing opportunities for three contractors who will be selected based on price and quality evaluations.

This procurement presents significant growth opportunities for businesses within the construction and home improvement sectors, particularly those specialising in kitchen design and installation. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) like Everwarm Ltd, MCN (Scotland) Ltd, and L&D Plumbing & Tiling Services Ltd have already engaged in this tender process. Interested parties should demonstrate relevant experience, financial robustness, and certifications (such as Gas Safe and NICEIC) to compete effectively in such public contracts.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

Rural Stirling Housing Association Ltd. intends to enter into a Framework Agreement with up to three Contractors for the design, supply and installation of new kitchens and associated works within its housing stock for a four-year period commencing in January 2020. It is envisaged that the three Contractors scoring highest following the overall price and quality evaluation will be appointed to the Framework. It is envisaged that the initial work order raised under this Framework Agreement for the 74Nr properties will be allocated to the bidder most competitive on price and quality overall, who will thereafter be designated as the 'Preferred Contractor'. Subsequent orders may be issued to framework contractors at the Association's discretion and may be subject to a mini-tendering competition. The bidders finishing in 2nd and 3rd place overall following the tender evaluation process shall be appointed to the Framework in these positions in a 'back-up' capacity in the event that the Preferred Contractor does not perform to the required standards or have the capacity to complete works within the Client's timescales at any point over the course of the Framework Agreement. Should this situation arise, the client reserves the right to utilise the other Framework Contractors to complete any non-performing Contractor's works orders. Notwithstanding the above, appointment to the framework does not guarantee that orders will be placed with any provider.
