People Diagnosed with Young Onset Dementia

Young onset dementia day opportunities services are for people under the age of 65 who have a diagnosis of dementia. The service also supports the families, carers and friends of those diagnosed. People diagnosed with dementia under the age of 65 (often referred to as young onset dementia) may experience similar symptoms of dementia to those diagnosed in later life but can have different areas of need and require different types of support..
