The Council has expectations that, despite the economic and political challenges facing the UK and Scottish Governments' (e.g. Welfare Reform, Brexit, potential Independence Referendum and potential reform of Local Taxation) the Supplier will maintain and work with the Purchaser to maximise collection levels.Perth and Kinross Council are seeking to appoint a supplier for debt collection services in respect of :- Council tax- Non Domestic Rates- Business Improvement Districts- Housing Benefit Overpayments- Enforcement and Diligence in relation to former tenant rent arrears- Service of a variety of Statutory Notices- Post Decree Services including the service of charges and carrying out evictions- Service of sundry court documents e.g. summons and interlocutors- Sales Ledger Debt Collection- Sales Ledger Diligence- Penalty Charge Notices- Planning Enforcement Action
