## Summary

The Scottish Government is conducting a public procurement process titled "Growing Up in Scotland Study: 2020-2026," focused on the services sector. This study aims to track children's lives in Scotland and has been ongoing since 2005. The procurement is currently in the Award stage, with a key contract value of £2,050,135. The contract was signed on 9 March 2021, and the buying organisation is located at Victoria Quay, Edinburgh, UK. This procurement was initiated under an open procedure, allowing broad participation.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for researchers, data collection firms, and organisations specialising in social studies and child development. Businesses that possess experience in longitudinal studies, can ensure high-quality data collection and those familiar with public sector contracts will find themselves well-suited to compete in future phases of the Growing Up in Scotland project. Given the nature of the study, companies with a focus on environmental context, family dynamics, and social policy will also align well with the requirements of this contract.
