### Procurement Information

In September 2019 a contract below the OJEU threshold was awarded for professional support to prepare and negotiate appeals for shooting rites across Scotland's national forests and land. Additional appeal citations are expected and are time bound, FLS is unable to contract with a new procurement procedure within the statutory time limits for appeals. Failure to progress appeals timeously will result in a significant budget liability for FLS. Therefore a decision has been made to contract with the original contractor to avoid significant inconvenience and substantial duplication of costs.
