Lot 1

The Scottish Government requires the provision of payment services for landlord registration fees. This will include acceptance and processing of credit cards, debit cards and other types of card payments/ transactions typically for landlords and their agents. Account and reporting facilities are required, along with the ability to undertake refunds. This contract anticipates an Application Program Interface (API) which will integrate smoothly with the current online application system. The current online application system (https://landlordregistrationscotland.gov.uk/) is built on a load balanced distributed microservice architecture using Spring Boot and Enterprise Java. It is responsive (adapts to Mobile/tablets) and uses minimal javascript. The service is accessed via the web of https and consists of an online application service, admin portal and searchable register. This service is expected to meet both industry standards of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA).

Options: There is an option period within the Contract to extend it for an additional 12 months. The total value of the Contract reflects both the initial 12 months and the additional 12 months.
