The custody suites are hosted by Aberdeenshire and used by offenders and patients who are mainly from Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire. The ED Department will see patients from both authority areas. Therefore, the service model has been developed jointly and will be implemented and evaluated jointly.. The contract will be for 2 years with the option to extend for two further one-year periods.
