## Summary

The procurement process involves the Common Services Agency (widely recognised as NHS National Services Scotland), located in Edinburgh, which is seeking a data breach detection solution. The title of the tender is "NP501419 Data breach detection solution," categorised under the health industry. Currently, the procurement stage is complete, having transitioned through the limited procurement method, which is defined as an award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition. The contract has an approximate value of £580,000 and is set for a duration of three years, signed on 7th February 2020.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses capable of providing hosting and ongoing support services tailored to the health sector's data security needs. Companies with expertise in software development, particularly in data breach technologies and health compliance frameworks, would be well-positioned to compete. As the incumbent supplier holds exclusive intellectual property rights, there may be limited competition; however, the ongoing demand for enhanced data protection within NHS Scotland further underscores the potential for growth in this market.
