Angus Council, Dundee City Council and Perth and Kinross Council agreed to proceeding on a Tayside wide basis, aligning with the development of a Tayside Mental Health strategy. The counselling support provided should conform to agreed professional standards, such as those provided by COCSA and BACP, and current best practice for school based counselling, specifically in respect of counsellors qualifications, supervision policy, child protection policies and continuous professional development and learning.
