Provision of Internal audit services for Quality Meat Scotland

### Lot Information

Lot 1

QMS is seeking to contract internal audit services for a period of 3 years from the date of appointment with an option to extend this contract by for a further 2-year period, subject to satisfactory performance. The contractor will be expected to provide a maximum of 12 days per annum to carry out a programme of internal audit as agreed with the QMS Audit and Risk Management Committee and building on past internal audit activity. The scope of work to be carried out is to include: - the development of an audit plan for the initial period of the contract - the delivery of the internal audit services as specified in the plan. - attendance at QMS Audit and Risk Management Committee meetings of which there are three held each financial year. The successful organisation will be expected to present its draft programme of internal audit to the QMS Audit and Risk Management Committee when it meets on 3rd June 2020 at 1.00 pm.

Renewal: Tenders should note that these fees should remain fixed for the 3-year duration of the contract. If extended to a further 2 years, then any variation will be entered into under separate negotiation.
