## Summary

The Common Services Agency, known as NHS National Services Scotland (NSS), has completed the procurement process for the "CHI & Child Health Transformation Programme Resource". This contract was awarded on 12th March 2020, with a contract value of £140,940. The procurement process was classified as a limited method, specifically an award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition. The services are aimed at modernising healthcare systems, related to the health industry category, and were conducted in Edinburgh, UK, with the NHS as the principal buyer.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for large consultancy firms with expertise in healthcare transformation, particularly those with a proven track record in delivering complex national programmes. The requirement for a consistent programme team indicates that businesses that can demonstrate relevant experience in similar projects may find a competitive advantage. Given the specific skills and historical knowledge necessary for this programme, suppliers with established relationships and deep understanding of the NHS Scotland’s operational landscape are particularly well-suited to engage in this market opportunity.

## Notice

It is essential that the same team that has previously worked on this highly complex and high profile national programme remain on the programme. This team successfully delivered the Procurement, Proof of Concept, Due Diligence and Full Business Case (FBC) and have been heavily involved in the initial stages of configuration. Consequently, their skills, experience and programme history are vital in the remainder of the implementation phase.
