Direct Award for the Provision of SPT Labtech Mosquito Internal PPE Ref 5456 This Exemption is required for the Provision of SPT Labtech Mosquito. The purchase of this unit is imperative for the CVR in our challenge of sequencing positive COVID-19 samples and the downstream analysis with each sequence. We urgently require this in our task of undertaking full genome sequencing of the SARS-COV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Direct award made to comply with the reformed EU Public Procurement Directive regulations for single source requirements. Reference: The Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016 - Regulation 6.
