## Summary

The University of Strathclyde has initiated a tender for the "Planned & Reactive Maintenance Framework", with the University of Glasgow also participating. This procurement process is classified under the industry category of works and is based in Glasgow, UK. The procurement method is an open procedure, with an expected value of approximately £12.74 million. The tender period is open until 16 November 2020, and it covers a number of lots, including Fire Protection, Joinery & Builderwork, and Roofing, with significant project requirements outlined for each category.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses, particularly those in the construction, maintenance, and facility management sectors. Firms specialising in maintenance works, fire protection, and building trades will be well-positioned to compete, especially if they are familiar with the necessary qualifications and hold relevant certifications as outlined in the tender documents. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and larger contractors may both find fruitful opportunities within the framework, as the contract terms allow for flexible modifications and renewals, potentially broadening the scope of work over time.
