## Summary

Clackmannanshire Council has initiated a public procurement process for the "Roads Maintenance and Improvements Framework," designed to support multiple councils, including Stirling and Falkirk, across various road services. The procurement falls under the "works" category and follows an open tendering method. Key activities outlined in the framework include road resurfacing, improvements, and the installation of vehicle restraint systems. The tender successfully reached completion on 5th March 2020, and encompasses work primarily in the Alloa region (UKM72).

This tender presents significant opportunities for companies specialising in civil engineering, road maintenance, and public works, particularly large-scale contractors with experience in similar projects. As the framework is structured to cover multiple road service contracts, businesses involved in resurfacing, road planning, and street lighting will find suitable prospects here. Firms capable of meeting rigorous technical standards and possessing the necessary expertise to work collaboratively with local authorities will be well-positioned to compete effectively for this procurement.

## Notice

Stirling Council, Clackmannanshire Council and Falkirk Council are carrying out an open tender procedure to create a framework agreement covering services and works across their Road Services teams. The framework will cover services that are currently bought in, either to supplement existing resources or where the Councils do not have the requisite expertise to carry the work out in house.
