## Summary

Perth & Kinross Council is conducting a planned procurement process titled "Talking Tenders with the Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA)", which falls under the works category. This initiative is focused on engaging companies, particularly SMEs, in Scotland, with a specific webinar scheduled for 19 May 2020. The procurement is currently in the planning stage and aims to discuss various upcoming opportunities related to construction and refurbishment projects, including frameworks to replace existing council facilities.

This tender presents significant opportunities for small to medium-sized enterprises interested in public sector work, particularly in construction and associated services. Businesses specialising in refurbishment, design, and building services would be well-positioned to benefit from participating in this procurement process. The SPA's Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) allows prequalified suppliers to engage in multiple future work packages, enhancing the chances for contract awards in various construction disciplines over the next few years.

The Supplier Development Programme has scheduled the first ever webinar on "Talking Tenders with the Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA)" on 19 May. The SPA is keen to engage with as many companies as possible throughout Scotland, particularly SMEs and supported businesses, as part of crucial development of its frameworks.
