## Summary

The procurement process titled "Review of Service Delivery in FM/Catering and Cleaning Services" is being conducted by Argyll and Bute Council in collaboration with West Dunbartonshire Council, focused on the services industry. This initiative is currently in the planning stage, with significant developments expected to take place over the summer and autumn of 2020. The objective is to evaluate service efficiencies and improvements through a Partnership Management Model. Interested parties are encouraged to register their interest by June 12, 2020, to receive further information and updates on the process.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for businesses in the facilities management, catering, and cleaning sectors to engage with local authorities and foster growth through potential collaborations. Companies that specialise in service reviews, operational efficiency solutions, and those offering innovative management models will find this procurement particularly relevant. Participants in this process could gain insights into streamlining operations, allowing them to offer competitive proposals that align with the Councils' objectives for enhanced service delivery.

## Notice

Both Councils are keen to explore the opportunity of a Partnership Management Model operating across the Catering and Cleaning/FM services of both Council areas. It is considered that this type of arrangement could offer opportunities for economies of scale, more streamlined management arrangements and best value through sharing of good practise. There are significant number of synergies in the operations of this service area given that elements of provision are delivered in line with National Legislation and a number of potential opportunities which could yield service efficiencies and improvements through time have already been identified. An external specialist contractor/agency is being sought to undertake a service review and develop a detailed Business Case and options appraisal which will explore and evaluate such service efficiencies and improvements. It is anticipated that this work would be undertaken within a 3 month period during Summer/Autumn 2020.
