## Summary

The public procurement process initiated by Abellio ScotRail Ltd concerns a tender for a Learning Management System (LMS) aimed at modernising training content and accessibility for its staff. The buying organisation, based in Glasgow, is seeking services under the open procurement method. The tender submission period is active, with a deadline for submissions set for 12th June 2020. The contract is expected to commence in August 2020 and continues until March 2022, with the potential for annual extensions.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in educational technology and digital training solutions. Companies that have experience developing interactive learning management systems or offering eLearning content would be particularly well-suited to compete. Successful respondents will need to demonstrate previous case studies of comparable scale and have the ability to innovate in creating an engaging platform that addresses the challenges of traditional learning methods. Collaboration with ScotRail’s Human Resources and IT teams will be essential throughout this process.

## Notice

ScotRail needs to modernise their training content, delivery method and accessibility to learning. ScotRail wish to implement a new LMS 'off the shelf' content library so we can offer a full suite of learning to all ScotRail staff across all methods in a blended learning model
