## Summary

The West Dunbartonshire Council (WDC) is initiating a procurement process titled "SAN (Storage Array Network) Replacement - Market Research". This project falls under the general public services category, and the delivery locations are designated at Aurora House Data Centre and William Patrick Library Data Centre in Clydebank, Scotland. Currently in the planning stage, the Council is conducting market research to explore replacing outdated SAN hardware to ensure necessary storage capacity and accommodate future growth over the next five years. Interested suppliers should be aware that the deadline for expressing interest is set for 31st October 2020.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in IT services, particularly those focused on storage solutions and data centre operations. Companies capable of providing professional services, hardware installations, and knowledge transfer to IT personnel will be well-suited to compete. By participating in this procurement, successful bidders can expand their business portfolios and engage in collaborative projects with the local authority, enhancing their reputation and market presence in the public sector.
