## Summary

The Scottish Government is conducting a tender process for the recruitment of members to Scotland's Climate Assembly. This initiative, titled "Recruitment of Members to Scotland's Climate Assembly," falls under the services category and aims to enable a diverse group of citizens to deliberate on climate change issues. The current procurement stage is the tender phase, with submissions due by 6th July 2020. The contract value is set at £100,000, and the procurement method is open, allowing interested parties to participate. The selected consultancy will be responsible for recruiting 100 members using a postal civic lottery from the population aged 16 and over in Scotland and will need to provide documentation of the selection process one month prior to the Assembly’s first meeting.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those specialising in citizen engagement, public consultation, or environmental protection services. Firms with experience in recruitment processes or working with public sector organisations to facilitate inclusive dialogues will be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. By participating in this procurement, businesses can expand their portfolios while contributing to important discussions around climate change in Scotland, thus positioning themselves as key players in the environmental sector.
