## Summary

Glasgow City Council is planning a tender titled "Break Point Re-Opening of the 2019 Social Work Framework for Selected Purchased Social Care Supports," aimed at enhancing care and support services within Glasgow. The procurement process is currently in the planning stage, with the anticipated launch of the tender scheduled for early September 2020. Interested applicants are expected to meet all qualification criteria outlined in the upcoming documentation, and the framework is set to run until 30th January 2024, with the possibility of a two-year extension.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in care and support services, particularly those with a focus on working with vulnerable populations, such as individuals with mental health difficulties or learning disabilities. Organisations that can demonstrate experience and relevant Care Inspectorate registrations will be well-positioned to compete. The framework will allow successful bidders to be listed non-ranked, thereby diversifying provider options for service users, ultimately fostering innovation and quality in service delivery.
