## Summary

The procurement process for the "FW0070 - Building Maintenance Framework Agreement" is being conducted by Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS), an agency of the Scottish Government based in Inverness. The project falls under the "works" category within the environmental protection industry, and comprises four lots covering the North, East, West, and South regions of Scotland. The tender is currently in the award stage, having reached completion with contracts signed on 26 August 2021. Each award encompasses a substantial investment, with a total estimated value of £8,487,000 across all lots. Details of the lots include contracts for various maintenance and improvement works on FLS-managed buildings, including offices, stores, and workshops.

This framework presents significant growth opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the construction and maintenance sectors. Companies skilled in providing quick response maintenance, reactive works, and larger planned projects would be highly suitable candidates for this tender. Succesful bidders are expected to demonstrate relevant experience, possess necessary qualifications and insurance, and comply with specific operational requirements outlined in the tender documentation. As FLS aims to foster supplier engagement and retain a diverse supplier base, businesses participating in this process could enhance their visibility and secure valuable contracts across multiple regions in Scotland.
