Lot 1

The College is seeking a Contractor to provide a new firewall/security solution based on next generation technologies. The Contractor will be required to design, build, commission and support the new firewall/security solution which will be installed in datacentres in our Dunfermline and Glenrothes campuses. Having recently reviewed our security posture and connectivity requirements, it is clear that there will be a requirement for additional bandwidth over and above the existing two 1GB connections to Janet to be provided if current utilisation trends continue. As such any new firewall/security solution should be able to meet our existing needs, but also be able to scale to accommodate two 10GB connections to Janet.
