## Summary

The Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature Trust is seeking an architect-led multidisciplinary design team to conduct a paid feasibility study for the Literature House for Scotland project, located in Edinburgh, UK. This initiative is part of a broader plan to enhance the Literary Quarter at the Netherbow area of Edinburgh’s Royal Mile. The procurement process has moved to the Award stage, with the project value estimated at £2,500,000. The tender period concluded on 26th October 2020, and the procurement method used is an open procedure, facilitating broad participation.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for architectural firms, particularly those specialising in cultural and public projects, to expand their portfolio through involvement in innovative community-based initiatives. Businesses that possess expertise in creating inspiring and sustainable design solutions for public spaces would be particularly well-suited to engage with this project. The successful firm will not only complete the feasibility study but may also be retained for the entire project, potentially leading to further contracts in the development of Scotland’s Literary House.
