## Summary

The procurement process for the "CR-H0415 - Meraki and Cabling Wi-Fi Installation" has been completed, with Hanover (Scotland) Housing Association acting as the buying organisation. This project is categorised under the housing and community amenities industry, located throughout Scotland. The contract was awarded on 22nd July 2020 and involves providing and installing cabling and associated equipment necessary for communal Wi-Fi across multiple Hanover developments. This open procurement method attracted a single bid from Social Telecoms CIC, a small to medium-sized enterprise, which successfully secured the contract valued at £73,815.

This tender presents an opportunity for businesses with expertise in telecommunications, networking solutions, and IT installations to expand their operations, particularly in the housing sector. Companies capable of handling technical installations, including those familiar with cabling systems and network setups, would be well-suited to compete for similar projects. Additionally, businesses with a focus on working in environments that may involve asbestos management and compliance with electrical safety standards would find such tenders align with their capabilities.

Lot 1

Hanover Development Wi-Fi Project - Project Scope There are 77 Hanover developments requiring the installation of cabling and associated equipment for communal Wi-Fi. The networking equipment (which his all Meraki) will be provided and configured by Hanover staff. There are an additional 6 developments that require smaller works to install extra equipment and these are also included. Details of required works at each development are provided in the development plans and the information spreadsheet. Each development will require a survey to agree locations for cabling and equipment, there is a plan for each marking locations but on-site staff will agree final placement as part of the survey process. A number of Hanover sites have asbestos present in the buildings, where asbestos may be present as part of the survey process any areas requiring drilling need to be identified and Hanover will provide a specialist contractor to perform tests. Where asbestos is found to be present any staff undertaking drilling will need to be trained to undertake non-licensed works. Certification of this will need to be provided prior to works being undertaken. Where electrical work is being performed minor works certificates will be needed, further details can be found in the project PCI document. Developments have been split into batches and delivery and invoicing will be on a batch basis with purchase orders raised once surveys have been completed and agreed.. AS per contract documents
