The University is investigating working with APUC on a collaborative agreement for future purchases. APUC are seeking to create a Scottish Framework for all educational use of this application in order to strengthen our purchasing position and therefore obtain best value from this contractual relationship. Justification for this product below: - The MATLAB software is integrated into the University degree programmes, so the existing course can only be provided with this software renewal. - The MATLAB software is an essential tool for conducting research in many of STEM subjects. For a number of disciplines it is the primary tool for data analysis and a significant number of new, ongoing, high value projects are dependent on the software to operate.
