The pilot suicide bereavement support service forms part of the delivery of Scotland's Suicide Prevention Action Plan, specifically Action 4, the provision of timely and effective support for those affected by suicide. The service will be piloted in two geographical areas for a period of two years commencing in April 2021. There will be national management and support of the service in the two pilot areas with locally specific support offered in each area.
