### Lot Information

Lot 1

The Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC) at the University of Strathclyde has need for a uniaxial tensile testing rig capable of performing superplastic forming (SPF) tests of metallic alloys to ASTM standard E2448-18. This rig must be capable of performing at high temperature, low load and high extension tensile tests. The environmental chamber must be able to be filled with a gas of choice. The testing rig must be able to test in the low strain rates range. Testing would be carried out in Lab 3 of the AFRC's main building located at 85 Inchinnan Dr, Inchinnan, Renfrew.

Options: The Contracting Authority reserves the right to request additional deliveries by the Successful Tenderer, either intended as partial replacement of supplies or installations or as extensions of existing supplies and installations.
