## Summary

The procurement process for the "Webcasting Services 2021" contract is being conducted by the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body, located in Edinburgh, Scotland. This contract falls under the services industry category and was initiated through an open tender procedure. The tender period is currently closed, with submissions due by 26th February 2021. The contract, awarded on 18th March 2021, has an estimated value of £483,000 and is designated as a business-critical requirement for the Scottish Parliament, necessitating expedient action due to ongoing performance issues with the previous contractor.

This contract provides a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in webcasting and digital media services, particularly those that can demonstrate experience in developing and maintaining high-traffic websites and streaming services. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with expertise in this sector would be well-positioned to compete, especially those capable of managing complex technical requirements, such as simultaneous live streams and comprehensive content management systems. With the potential for extensions and the importance of quality in service delivery, participants who can meet stringent technical and financial criteria are likely to thrive in this competitive landscape.
