The City of Edinburgh Council wishes to procure a range of assistive equipment for demonstration to people with sensory loss. Products range from high technology products to inexpensive analogue items. Expressions of interest are invited to quote for supply and delivery of items such as Roger pens, adapted kitchen products such as talking microwave and induction hob, low vision lighting products, glare glasses, electronic magnifiers, low value equipment such as pillboxes and finger guards, in addition to smart speakers, smartphones and tablets. This anticipated cumulative value of these items will be no more than GBP25,000. Please indicate interest to Susan Shippey at susan.shippey@edinburgh.gov.uk by Thursday 11 February 2011, after which your organisation will be provided with a full list of equipment required. It is expected that quotes will be due by 19 January 2021.
