## Summary

The procurement process is being led by North Ayrshire Council for a project titled "Supported Accommodation" in the health industry sector. The planned projects include the development of a supported accommodation facility at Flatt Road in Largs, comprising 22 units, and another facility at Caley Court in Stevenston with 15 units. The anticipated construction completion dates are Summer 2021 for Largs and January/February 2022 for Stevenston. This tender is currently in the planning stage and is expected to engage a single service provider for each development to operate the staff base and provide essential support services for tenants, including those with disabilities. Potential bidders should respond to a PIN questionnaire by 16th April 2021.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the health and social care sector, particularly those providing housing support, personal care, and emergency services. Companies that specialise in assisted living, community support, and housing adaptations, as well as those engaged in related logistical and operational services, would be well-suited to compete for these contracts. The proposed nine-year contract, with a value of approximately £13.6 million, offers the chance for sustainable growth through ongoing service provision to vulnerable populations in North Ayrshire.
