## Summary

Fife College has recently completed a procurement process for the "Training Course in Waste in Circular Economy," targeted at individuals affected by job losses or furloughs due to the pandemic. Located in Dunfermline, Scotland, Fife College classified this procurement under the education sector and employed a limited tendering method without prior publication. The contract, awarded to The Verdancy Group Ltd on 4th March 2021, is valued at £160,000 and aims to provide a comprehensive 40-hour unit of learning for 100 full-time students annually. This initiative is part of broader efforts to support economic recovery in the region.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses engaged in educational services, particularly those specialising in sustainability and circular economy training. Companies with expertise in STEM, engineering, renewables, and construction education may find themselves well-positioned to contribute, especially those who can develop innovative training solutions aligned with Fife College's objectives. As this contract is intended to span five years, other suppliers may wish to prepare for future opportunities as the market evolves and new trainers emerge in this niche sector.
