Since 2015, the LCITP has played an important role in providing support to low carbon energy demonstrator projects. The Low Carbon Infrastructure Transition Programme (LCITP) Call for Evidence to Support Development of Future Programme seeks input on actions to modify and enhance the range of support mechanisms currently provided by the Scottish Government through the LCITP. Transitioning to a sustainable, net zero society will create a demand for a wide range of jobs with new skills and long term career prospects. The Consultation on Scottish Skill Requirements for Energy Efficiency, Microgeneration and Heat Networks for Homes sets out our proposals for energy efficiency, microgeneration and heat network skill requirements in relation to retrofit work in existing homes and, where relevant, new-build housing. The overall aim of this contract is to produce a clear and concise report for publication, which reflects a robust and systematic analysis of responses to the Consultation on Scottish skill requirements for energy efficiency, microgeneration and heat networks for homes; and the Low Carbon Infrastructure Transition Programme (LCITP) Call for Evidence to Support Development of Future Programme.
