## Summary

The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body is initiating a public procurement process for 'Art Handling, Installation, Transport and Storage Services' to support the management of its art collection located at The Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh. This procurement is currently in the planning stage, with market research taking place until 23 April 2021. The services required will involve the handling and transportation of various artworks, including large oil paintings, sculptures, and temporary exhibitions. Interested suppliers are encouraged to register their interest and participate in market research, which will inform the forthcoming tender phase.

This procurement opportunity presents significant potential for businesses engaged in art logistics, installation, and transportation. Companies with expertise in handling high-value artworks, particularly those with experience in environmental controls and security during transportation and storage, would be well-positioned to compete. Additionally, businesses offering services in emergency salvage and temporary storage solutions may find this tender aligns well with their capabilities, opening avenues for collaboration with a prominent public body.
