## Summary

Renfrewshire Council has completed a procurement process for the supply, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electric vehicle charging points at Elderslie Village Hall, Howwood Village Hall, ON-X Sports Centre, and Johnstone Sports Hub. This project, classified under the works category, utilised an open procurement method and has recently been awarded to SWARCO UK LTD. The contract, valued at £65,870.27, was signed on 31 March 2021, marking the process's conclusion. The council, located at Renfrewshire House in Paisley, is a central purchasing body with responsibilities as a regional authority.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses focused on electrical installation and maintenance services, particularly those with experience in electric vehicle infrastructure. Companies specialising in civil engineering, electrical works, and maintenance contracts, especially those holding expertise in NEC3 contracts, would be well-suited to compete for similar future opportunities. The emphasis on both the installation and ongoing maintenance phases suggests that firms capable of offering comprehensive and reliable service solutions could find advantageous growth prospects in the evolving market for electric vehicle charging solutions.
