### Lot Information

Lot 1

The Consultant is required to develop a Traffic and Transportation Strategy for Glasgow City Centre, utilising Scottish Transport Appraisal Guidance methodology. Liaison with the other workstreams being undertaken as part of the City Centre Strategy will be required throughout. For the purposes of this project, the City Centre is defined by the M8, Wishart Street, Barrack Street, Bain Street, Glasgow Green, Ballater Street, Norfolk Street, Commerce Street and the River Clyde (see Section 6 Location Plan). The strategy must include this area and a surrounding buffer of 500m to ensure connectivity of proposals with adjacent areas. Within this area the strategy must include:- - reviewing the extent of Pedestrian movements and key gateways into the City Centre; - reviewing all existing public transport routes and interchanges; - reviewing all existing traffic movements; - reviewing all existing cycling facilities; - reviewing freight transport and servicing requirements; - and reviewing mobility impaired accessibility. The consultant will be required to undertake a scoping exercise as to whether a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) is required for the CCTP and provide information as required to allow the production of an Equality Impact Assessment. The scope of this commission does not include undertaking any SEA or Equality Impact Assessment.
