The service provision requires a fully staffed 24/7 service centre with dedicated alarm monitoring for fault handling and dispatching of service engineering staff on a 24/7 basis. The service provision includes both a dedicated service manager and account manager as well as fully trained Honeywell certified service engineers

The University has in place a Honeywell Building Solutions (a division of Honeywell Control Systems Limited), hardware and software system delivering automation control to both standard and more complex building services, and includes process control over modern complex academic research equipment with an estimated value exceeding 100,000,000. The service contracted is a fully comprehensive maintenance provision for all building services automation hardware and software currently installed. This include spares, repairs, engineering time and any project management requirements. The service provision requires a fully staffed 24/7 service centre with dedicated alarm monitoring for fault handling and dispatching of service engineering staff on a 24/7 basis. The service provision includes both a dedicated service manager and account manager as well as fully trained Honeywell certified service engineers.. The contract commenced on 16th June 2021 for an initial period of five (5) years with the option to extend for an additional five (5), twelve (12) month extension periods.

Options: The University has reserved the option for additional purchases under this contract, this includes but is not limited to the following: - system hardware/ software upgrades - maintenance within additional buildings - ad hoc requirements related to BEMS
