## Summary

The procurement process involves Irvine Housing Association Limited, which is based in Irvine, UK, seeking expressions of interest for the "Irvine Housing Gas Servicing & Maintenance" project. This initiative falls under the housing and community amenities sector and is currently in the awarded stage, following a selective procurement method under a restricted procedure. Each contract is set to run initially for ten years, with options for extension, covering approximately 2,257 properties across Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway. Key dates include the tender submission deadline on 19 July 2021, and the contracts were signed on 16 December 2021, with a total estimated contract value of £8,700,000.

This tender represents significant opportunities for larger service providers specialising in gas servicing and maintenance, particularly those capable of managing contracts over extended periods. Businesses with robust ICT systems and strong customer service capabilities will be well-suited to compete, especially those able to meet the financial criteria, which includes having a minimum average annual turnover. The potential for community benefits and additional workstreams throughout the contract term further enhances the appeal of this opportunity for businesses looking to expand their service offerings within the public sector.
