This requirement had been previously published as part of Day Opportunities Framework in January 2020. No bids were received for the Young Onset Lot. During the pandemic Alzheimer Scotland (the Incumbent provider) has been pro-active in continuing community outreach service provision, phone and online support within the constraints of current Scottish Government COVID -19 national guidance. Further work is required to allow time to shape future commissioning requirements and service model development through co-production with key stakeholders. Awarding this interim contract will provide stability to the people requiring the service and to the provider.
